The De Colores Rooster design originates from a traditional Spanish folk song which expresses the joy of living and beauty of creation. It is widely used as a song in the Roman Catholic Cursillo movement and related communities such as the Great Banquet Chrysalis Flight Tres Dias and Walk to Emmaus. It is also associated with the United Farm Workers union as one of the most commonly heard songs sung during rallies. The rooster has always been a reminder for Christians to not deny their faith as Jesus said on the night he was arrested prior to being crucified "Truly I say to you that this very night before a rooster crows you will deny Me three times." OR you just like Roosters.
